I wrote this poem at night above the Rocky Mountains, memorized it and have carried it with me ever since. It is like a stone to keep in your pocket, to be felt and rubbed. It keeps me company, gives me comfort and challenges me in the moments when I have a hard time believing that it’s true. It’s easy to believe in when things are easy and the sun is out, and it is a mantra I embrace on the days when the sun seems far away and pain clouds my vision. May this banner center you on both days, and help you unfold the creation that is always unfolding around us and within us.
